About the Trip
The Camporee will be attended by 6,000+ scouts from around the nation, and approximately 250 West Point Cadets will volunteer to support and run the event. This trip has it all: scout camaraderie, games, and MUD.  We will drive to the campsite parking area Friday morning to drop off gear, then take a shuttle bus to hike over Bull Hill (a small mountain). Gear will be delivered to site by separate vehicle. Scouts who are interested and able can attend as Light Fighter–where you hike with all your gear in and out. This must be pre-arranged and agreed to by the Scoutmaster.

Saturday will consist of many challenge activities, namely:
Litter/first Aid
Wilderness Survival
Zodiac Challenge
Ranger Challenge
Leadership Reaction Course
Knot Tying
Swiss Seat/ One-rope Bridge
Commander's Challenge
Fitness Challenge

In addition to the activities there will be Static Displays of United States Military weapons and accessories, and Demonstrations by a variety of Cadet clubs throughout the weekend.

Because of the duration and some of the required activities on this trip, it is not open to scouts who have just joined Troop 10.  New scouts please join us for our next outing in May!

Bring bag lunch and snacks for Friday day car ride and hike. Bring lunch in backpack for hike. Bring money from lunch on the road home on Sunday. All other meals will be patrol based.
