WI19-Y02 Joinery with Steve McKenna , Tuesday January 14 - March 5, 2019 (8 classes) , 7 - 9 pm
This class will focus on review and hands-on practice for construc5ing select joinery techniques as follows: bridle joint, shouldered bridle joint, mortise and tenon joint, shouldered mortise and tenon joint, wedged through mortise and tenon joint, and dovetail joint. Everyone in the class will be expected to make each one of these joints by the end of classes. Students will need to bring their own hand tools as follows:
6” steel ruler, square, sharp fine saw, sharp ½” and 1” chisels.
This class is intended for students with a working knowledge of basic furniture construction who want to improve their skills and increase their proficiency in the successful use of these joinery techniques.
