Introduction: Students are asked to make a true commitment to the meaning of team. The administration in the Fall Mountain School District has high expectations that include rules to keep order and ensure that our students take proper care of their minds, bodies and attitudes. These regulations are to be adhered to and will be enforced fairly to all students participating in athletic events.
Athletic Philosophy: It is the philosophy of the Fall Mountain Regional School District Athletic Council to ensure that students participating in interscholastic sports receive a rewarding and competitive experience; display good sportsmanship; and conduct themselves as representatives of the Fall Mountain Regional School District.
The emphasis of the athletic programs shall be on teaching, progression of skills and participation, which does not necessarily include game time. Though participation is important at this level, it should be noted that game time is based on attitude and skill performance as determined by the coach. Depending on numbers of participants and equipment availability, coaches may have to limit roster sizes.
Before any student can participate in tryouts, the following requirements must be met:
- The parents/guardians are responsible for filling out this form completely and ensuring that any and all medical information concerning your child's health, medical concerns, injuries, medications and allergies are reported to the Athletic Department & coaches.
- Parent/guardian and the student-athlete should complete an online concussion course in the last 12 months. The free course can be found here- NFHS Concussion Course
