USC Rowing Association membership 2020-2021
The information requested in this site is mandatory for all rowers who plan to participate with the USC Rowing Association.
The personal information you enter into this secure site will remain static and not need to be re-entered on multiple forms each season/year as was necessary in the past with the paper process. If any of your information changes or is in need of modification or updating, simply access your private Family ID account, make and save those necessary changes. Please remember to keep your information up to date whenever insurance or other important information changes. Also, if you receive an e-mail indicating that there is a defect with one or more of your entries, please remedy the issue in a timely manner.
All active rowers must pay the annual membership fee to USC Rowing Association to participate in the rowing program during that year/season.
Our rowing program is a year-round coed rowing program with distinct seasons; Fall, Winter and Spring. While it is not required for Junior and High School rowers to participate year-round, it is recommended that rowers participate as much as possible to continually improve, in terms of technique and strength. Our winter season is at the USC highschool. We do offer the opportunity for a seasonal membership.
There are two levels of membership, Fort Couch and High school.
- Our Development Team (Fort Couch) rowers are Middle School students (grades 7 and 8). They practice 2 days per week and 2 Saturdays per month.
- Our High School Rowing Team (grades 9-12) practice typically 4 weekdays and Saturday mornings.
We offer the option to row for one season, add only the winter season, or row for a full year. If you choose to row for a full year the winter season is free.
Typically during Fall and Spring Season, students would be picked up from USC High school by school bus and will be brought back to the high school at the end of practice. However, due to Covid19 circumstances may change this.
The association thrives on the efforts of parent volunteers. If you plan to volunteer, as a driver, chaperone, or site volunteer, you must have the USC School District volunteer clearance.
For those rowers that join after the Registration deadline (commencement date for the season), they shall use their start date as their payment deadline.
