TEEN and YOUTH CERAMICS
Introduction to the Wheel (Ages 8-12)
There are few things more amazing than creating a useful object out of a lump of spinning clay. Learn to use the potter’s wheel in this beginning class that will cover bowls and cylinders. We will also explore ways of altering the clay surface and adding hand built items to wheel thrown vessels.

8 Weeks; Mondays 4:00-6:00pm OR Tuesdays, 4:00-6:00pm
Introduction to Hand-building (Ages 5-10)
Get your hands dirty with this beginning hand-building ceramics course where we will learn how to create slabs, coils, and pinch pots out of lumps of clay. Once each of these techniques is mastered, they will be combined to make creative objects that are functional or decorative!
