Summer Evening Ceramic Sculpture Workshop (Sum17)

A four-session intensive evening class to create unique sculptures or vessels for your home or garden using both hand-building techniques and the potter’s wheel. Decorate with earthy or bright ceramic colors and glazes for a high temperature firing that will stand the test of time and weather. Resident artist Bruce Barry will introduce you to the pinch, coil, slab, and wheel methods you need for this hybrid project, suitable for any skill level in clay. Work will be fired to high temperature as completed or immediately following the course, and be ready for your garden or home, this season and beyond!
