Registration Deadline 07/27/2020
Payment Deadline 07/27/2020

Monday-Friday, August 3-7

9:30-10:30 am

Instructor: Claire Higgins

Learn techniques to create realistic drawings from observation. We’ll begin with a variety of drawing pencils and charcoal sticks, and later add watercolor paint for color. $55, $45 for Museum Family-level members.

Due to the corona virus, this summer FAM is offering its youth classes online using the Zoom video conferencing service. Participants need to have a computer, internet connection, and a space at home for your child to make art. Classes will be live and held at a specific time. During the class period, instructors will provide demonstrations, and students will follow along at home and receive individual feedback from the instructor. A password and link to the class on Zoom will be sent after registration. Adult assistance is not necessary during the class, although an adult may want to be nearby in case of spills, etc. Art supplies will be provided by curbside pick-up or by mail.

Full refunds for classes are given if you withdraw your child by July 23, 2020 by emailing or phoning Laura Howick, Director of Education at or 978.424.4505.  Full refunds are also given if the Museum has to cancel the class for any reason.
