PAINTING ON LOCATION  (All levels)  Jill Pottle

SP18-P03  July 20, 21, 22  9:30am – 4:00pm

Come and spend the day outside painting on location in beautiful Historic Lexington. Students will set up near rail trail, near the Buckman Tavern. Learn to simplify your shapes, get down an idea on canvas fast, on location, with the rich natural light of being outside. Painting on location ensures the best understanding of values and color relationships. The class will begin at 9:30am with a demonstration in oils on setting up, designing and starting into a painting. You may choose to work with regular oils, water base oils or acrylics. Inclement weather? We will do a landscape studio painting at LACS.
