The King Philip Regional School athletic program offers numerous interscholastic opportunities throughout the school year.
Spring Registration will be open from February 1, 2020-February 16, 2020
Registration and payment must be received by February 16, 2020 to avoid the $25.00 late fee.
Late registration will be from February 17, 2020- March 2, 2020 and will incur a $25.00 late fee.
Registrations WILL NOT be accepted after March 2, 2020
Sports offered during the Spring Season are:
Lacrosse - Boys & Girls
Tennis - Boys & Girls
Track & Field - Boys & Girls
Volleyball - Boys (girls offered in fall)
POLICY REGARDING PHYSICAL EXAMS FOR SPORTS
Regulations require the school to have a current physical on file for the entire season (current physicals need to be dated within 13 months of activity).
Physical dated 2/16/19-5/15/19- will expire during season. A new one must be submitted prior to 13 month expiration date or athlete will become ineligible to play This is NON-NEGOTIABLE.
Example: physical dated 3/1/19 - expires 4/1/20 and a new one will need to be submitted
Physical dated 5/15/19 or later good for entire season
The Spring season begins March 16, 2020.
PLEASE NOTE IF YOU HAVE NOT SUBMITTED A PHYSICAL THIS ACADEMIC YEAR WE MAY NOT HAVE ONE ON FILE DUE TO THE SWITCH FROM IPASS TO INFINITE CAMPUS. TO AVOID ANY ISSUES PLEASE SUBMIT A PHYSICAL TO THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT.
MANDATORY IMPACT CONCUSSION EXAM
The concussion testing is mandatory, per KP policy, for all Juniors and Freshman as well as any transfer students or any student who has not taken it in the past 2 years. Students that took the test for fall or winter sports this year do not need to re-take for spring sports.
Please remember it must be done before the athlete can begin practice. NO EXCEPTIONS!
COMPLETE ON-LINE CONCUSSION COURSE
Online Concussion Course – Parents and student athletes must complete a free online concussion course prior to registration. A free on-line course is available and contains all the information required by law. At the end of the course you will receive a completion receipt, The entire course, including registration can be completed in less than 30 minutes – below is the link to the course.- This is not the same as the baseline IMPACT test.
During registration you will be asked to sign off that you completed this course.
