Our spring sports season begins Monday, February 26, and we are pleased to offer baseball, fast pitch, boys soccer, tennis, and track & field. Please complete this on-line registration prior to the first day of practice. You will not be able to practice with the team without a completed registration.
A copy of a current physical examination must be on file in the office, and your athlete must have a current baseline concussion examination. Both the physical and baseline exam are are good for two years and cannot expire during the season. Please call Sarah Bullock at 780-1254 if you have questions.
Once you are on the 'official' roster, please pay the $250 participation fee to the accounting office (Ms. Spray) or on-line at this link: https://wa-bainbridge.intouchreceipting.com/ Please pay before the first contest, but no later than March 20.
The following Club sports are also available to BHS students: crew, lacrosse, sailing, girls water polo and ultimate frisbee. We do not register or collect fees for Club sports; please contact the Club directly.
Scholarship: In order to receive reduced prices for school and activity fees at BHS, your family should fill out a "Household Application for Free and Reduced Price Meals" form provided by Food Services. You may also pick up this form at the BHS front desk. Section 6 of this form offers families the opportunity to receive other benefits including reduced pricing for school fees and activities payments. Families who qualify for free lunch need only pay 25% of the participation fee and reduced lunch only pay 50%.
Thanks to significant fundraising efforts, there are funds available for families who may not qualify for fee reductions through the food services process, but require consideration for temporary financial aid. Please email Kristen Haizlip, Associate Principal at firstname.lastname@example.org for scholarship requests.
