We are accepting applications for probationary Firefighters and EMT's. Candidates should be motivated, eager to learn, and dependable. We meet on the first, second and third Sundays of every month at 0830.
Candidates will be provided on the job training, and we pay for outside classes and training. All candidates are paid hourly, and payroll is monthly. Pay depends on certifications. Room for advancement is possible after successful completion of probation.
All paid candidates must be 18 at the time of hire. Drivers must be 21. Youth members are welcome to join as Junior firefighters, and ages 12-18 may apply for a Junior position. Juniors are limited on work performed, and no life threatening duties will be conducted by Juniors.
The hiring process consist of filling out an application, an officers interview, and a chiefs interview. All applicants must live within 10 miles of the fire station.
