Tree Bark Clay Bowls
Saturday, October 19, 3-5pm
Join us on a short walk to look at various trees and their bark; colors, textures, thickness, peeling - can we identify trees from their bark? What does bark do? We will make tree bark impressions in pieces of clay, then return to the Umbrella to form ceramic bowls from our bark-textured clay. There will be colored underglazes available for immediate use if desired. The instructors will fire the pieces and they will be yours to take home in a week or two!
