During the month of April, in accordance with Colorado State mandates, Monument Academy will administer the PSAT/SAT standardized assessments to Monument Academy high school students. Colorado Law requires students in grades 9 through 12 to complete these assessments, but additional legislation allows parents to refuse assessment of their student(s) without any ramifications. Per board policy, parents/guardians may choose to excuse their student(s) from participation in the state-mandated standardized tests by completing and submitting the online "Assessment Refusal" found here no less than 3 days before the day of testing, although for planning purposes we do ask that refusals are submitted prior to spring break. All refusals must be submitted online, we will not accept paper submissions. Please use the NAME OF YOUR CHILD in the Participant Information section as opposed to your own. While we can usually determine which child you are requesting be excused from testing, the state requires the name of the child be on the refusal. Thank you!
