Welcome to the Washington Latin PCS Middle School Winter Athletics Registration program. Below you will find the necessary information and documentation to register your child/children for Winter sports. The registration begins tonight and will close on Sunday November 19th at 7pm. Please take a moment to review the necessary information below. Complete each section and submit on time. If you are having any technical difficulty with registering, please contact the Family ID support team. If you have any questions about the Winter program, please feel free to contact me directly. Additionally be sure to go back to the initial email and review the Athletics Winter Sports Information sheet. This will have all the information for the coaches, the tryout information and tentative practice times.
Please note, in an effort to ensure all families are treated equally and that we are properly able to facilitate all teams and coaches, we will be closing the online Winter Registration promptly at 7pm on Sunday November 19th. This is immediately before the first practices. For the sports and programs that are starting the following week and beyond, the deadline remains the same, Sunday November 19th 2017. Thank you in advanced for completing your registration on time.
I am looking forward to seeing our student athletes competing both in the classroom and on the field. With your support, we can continue to grow the Washington Latin Athletics Program. Join me in wishing all our MS Winter sports athletes a great season.

STUDENTS MUST BE REGISTERED BEFORE PARTICIPATION.
Initial Participation Requirements:
The Washington Latin Middle School Athletics program provides competitive, interscholastic activities for students. Before participation each student must meet the following eligibility requirements:
1. A PARENT, or GUARDIAN, must complete the FamilyID registration process. 2. Physical Examination—A current and completed District of Columbia Universal Health Certificate must be on file with the school. The student-athlete MUST be cleared to participate in competitive sports. 3. Academic Eligibility—As required and monitored by the DCSAA and PCSAA, Washington Latin students must maintain a grade point average of 2.0, or higher, to participate fully in our interscholastic athletic programs.
ALL students in Grades 7 & 8 are eligible to start the fall season. Grades will be checked at the Quarter 1 Interim on September 22, 2017. If the student’s GPA is below the required 2.0, then the student may be asked to withdraw from the Fall MS Athletics Program to focus on their academics. There are no exceptions to the academic eligibility rules.
If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact Mr. Berment via email at email@example.com.
4. Residency Requirement—Students must meet residency requirements as set in the DCMR, Chapter 27.
