Middle & High School - Winter 2018

The Medway Community Education Department is a totally self-sustaining program, designed to serve the varied needs of all area residents. Our programs provide the opportunity for educational and creative development incorporating academic, career and enrichment courses for all ages.

  • Teen Swim Lessons - Please visit the Franklin YMCA's website at www.hockymca.org for information on teen swim lessons.
  • Private Music Lessons - Grades 5-12   The Medway Music Department offers private lessons for students who play traditional concert band instruments.  Lessons are available at a rate of $24 per 30-minute lesson, $36 per 45-minute lesson, and $48 per 60-minute lesson.  Students study their instrument with a professional specialist in a one-on-one setting.  If interested or if you have questions, please contact Amanda Webster, high school music teacher, at awebster@medwayschools.org.
  • Kaplan SAT Test Prep - Grades 11 & 12  Kaplan offers two SAT classroom programs at Medway High School leading up to the March and May SATs - #1 Tuesdays, January 2-March 6 and #2 Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 29-May 3. Kaplan offers a $100 discount if register at least three weeks prior to the start of the program.   • In Control Advanced Driver Training - Crash Prevention Course - This program provides students with valuable hands-on experience in skid control, accident avoidance and other crucial driving skills that cannot be practiced on public roads.  The course consists of a closed course hands-on crash prevention training, supplemented by classroom discussion.  To receive a $60 discount, call 888-301-SAFE or visit www.driveincontrol.com/medwayhs and enter code "MedwayHS".
