Lidgerwood Elementary 2019 Cross Country Registration

Welcome to the Lidgerwood Elementary 2019 Cross Country Registration

Spokane Public Schools is excited for the next season of the Active4Youth Elementary cross-country program. Active4Youth hosts the program and partners with the District to provide the after-school cross country program to Spokane Public Schools, Central Valley School District, and West Valley School District. 
All Spokane Public School Elementary aged students in grades 1st – 6th are invited to participate in their schools’ cross-country program. Practice will begin the week of September 10th and practice schedules will be available first week of school. Participants will have the opportunity to race in the regional zone meets and qualify for the Spokane All City Meet. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes.  

Lidgerwood Elementary will participate in 2 meets in the Hays Park Zone  Both meets will begin at 4:30 p.m. and students will be bused from Lidgerwood Elementary to Hays Park to compete. 

All City Cross Country Meet will be held at Franklin Park (302 W. Queen)

Parents/Guardians of 1st through 6th grade Lidgerwood Students,
We are excited that our Cross Country program is back this year. A big Thank You to Active for Youth. Their sponsorship and commitment to keeping children involved in positive activities enable students in Spokane Schools to participate in this wonderful program.
Monday, September 9th will mark the first day of our after school cross country season. Those interested in being a part of the fun need to submit the following parent permission slip and parenl approval forms online prior to, the students first practice. We will acccept applications until Friday Septernber 13th· If these items are not approved the child will not be able to stay. The expectations for Cross Country activities are the same as those expressed for our school at all times. Safety, respect, and active participation are also expected. Students not meeting these behavioral expectations may not be allowed to continue in Cross
ountry or subsequent after school activities. Cross untry practices will run from September 9th through October 2nd from 3 :00 to 4:00 in the gym and on the field.
