A school district, intermediate school district, or public school academy shall identify key personnel to ensure that trained personnel are generally available for an emergency situation. Before using emergency seclusion or emergency physical restraint with students, key identified personnel who may have to respond to an emergency situtaion shall be appropriately trained. Module 1 covers: The legal requirements of emergency seclusion and restraint, Critical definitions of seclusion and restraint, Risk assessment, Application, and Data/documentation.
