Ipswich Middle School offers Intramural Basketball from October 29 - November 26, 2019 (There will be no games on Halloween.)
Registration is now open until October 11, 2019. There is a one-time annual fee of $50 for intramural sports (including basketball). (If you already paid for golf, you do not need to pay for basketball. However, if you paid for field hockey or cross country, you do need to pay the $50 intramural fee.) Games will be held Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2:30 - 3:45. Detailed schedules will be ready by October 25.
THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION:
1) ATHLETIC PARTICIPATION FEE:
The 2019-2020 athletic participation fee is $75 for interscholastic sports (each) and a one-time intramural fee of $50.
Please make checks out to "Ipswich Middle School" (with the name of your athlete and sport in the memo line), or make your payment online at the end of the registration process.

2) COPY OF CURRENT PHYSICAL
Please be sure you have an updated physical on file in the Middle School Health Office. Physicals are good for 13 months and are required for participation.
3) COMPLETE ONE ONLINE CONCUSSION COURSE (Annual)
Parents and student-athletes who plan to participate in any Ipswich Middle School athletic program must annually complete a free on-line concussion course. Two free on-line courses are available and contain all information required by law. The first is available through the National Federation of High School Coaches. You will need to click the “order here" button and complete a brief information form to register. At the end of the course, you will receive a completion receipt. The entire course, including registration, can be completed in less than 30 minutes.

All parents are required to complete and submit Department Report of Head Injury During Sports Season Form to the school nurse if a student sustains a head injury outside of the extracurricular activity.
4) READ THE OPIOID MISUSE PREVENTION PACKET
