Welcome to online registration for 2020-2021 via Familyid.com. Twin Falls Middle School uses this secure, paperless system for all parent permission forms. Please create an account below if you are a first time user or login to your existing account. This platform will manage all forms for sports, music, and field trips while your child attends TFMS. Questions? Please email staff on the right.
Incoming 8th graders must first choose from three registration options as summarized below. Please refer to the TFMS website for a more complete description of each option.
1. OPTION 1
If you choose OPTION 1, students will answer two questions below. First, choose one year-long pathway of either Band, Choir, Spanish, or AVID (note: AVID is only available for 7th graders currently enrolled in AVID). Second, choose one additional semester-long exploratory class: Art, Digital Media, Intro to Coding, Coding 2, Coding 3, Strength & Fitness, Low Impact Fitness or Competitive Sports.
2. OPTION 2
If you choose OPTION 2, students choose two year-long pathway classes: a combination of Band and Spanish OR Choir and Spanish. If you are currently enrolled in AVID, you may choose your year-long AVID class plus year-long Band, Choir, or Spanish.
3. OPTION 3
If you choose OPTION 3, students choose three exploratory classes from the following: Art, Digital Media, Intro to Coding, Coding 2, Coding 3, Competitive Sports, Strength & Fitness or Low Impact Fitness. Important notes: 1) All 8th graders already take required PE/Health class for one semester. Therefore, only ONE additional fitness class is permitted in your course selection. 2) Option 3 does not apply to students that want to take Band, Choir, Spanish or are enrolled in AVID.
If you have questions about a specific exploratory class, please contact your counselor.
