The summer LEARN TO ROW is open to new High School students only.
The High School Learn to Row is for any student-athlete interested in trying out for the fall high school crew (entering grades 9-12) that has NOT previously been on the team. NO experience necessary! Class begins in a stable 8-person or 4-person boat in which you will become familiar with rowing terminology and the fundamentals of technique while learning to row in a fun group environment. This program is a great introduction to the sport or rowing and prepare you for joining the High School team in the fall.
High School Learn to Row
Time: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Dates: August 13th – August 17th
Cancellation Policy: We practice in all weather except active lightning storms or other extreme conditions. Because our weather changes rapidly, rowers should assume practice will be held regardless of the weather and dress appropriately, unless they are told by a member of the coaching staff that practice has been cancelled.
