SEASONAL MEETING: August 29th at 6pm; Athletic Department Cookout at 5pm

At the start of each season (fall, winter & spring) there will be mandatory meetings for all athletes and parents. Attendance will be taken by respective coaches. All athletes are expected to attend with at least one parent or guardian, but preferably both. At these meetings, topics that will be discussed are school policy and procedures, current issues, athletic training protocols, school rules etc. Breakout rooms for individual teams will follow the open session. In the breakout meetings, coaches will go over team expectations, rules, schedules, and announcements.

All student-athletes and their parent/guardian must complete one of the two online concussion courses listed below.

All students participating in athletics who are mandated to complete the concussion education course must also be distributed material as deemed appropriate by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health regarding Opioid Addiction. Please see link below for tools to prevent and/or recognize opioid addiction. A hard copy prevention and recognition materials will be distributed at all preseason meetings.

Parents/guardians are urged to purchase secondary school insurance for their student athlete. It is not required for participation in athletics but it is recommended as it will help defray costs of medical care following an injury or accident whether it is school related or not. The cost of insurance is $50 per year. For more information go to and click on the K-12 student accident insurance voluntary enrollment form.
