The Freshman Retreat for the Class of 2023 takes place primarily at Bishop Blanchet High School. Students will arrive to school at 5:45pm on Thursday, February 27 and spend the night at school. Through small group discussions, large group activities, opportunities for reflection, and a group service project, students will build community and reflect on the theme Be True: Recognize Christ Within.
Students can be picked up at 5:00pm on Friday, February 28.
The retreat will include dinner on Thursday night, and breakfast and lunch on Friday. We are in need of volunteers to provide a dish for Thursday night's community dinner. Please click here to review the food requests and sign-up to bring something.
Parents/guardians are also needed to help chaperone during the late night hours at school (while students are sleeping) as well as during the service project on Friday. Please email Rachel Longest (email@example.com) if you would like to help.
**Students will need to bring shoes and clothes suitable for working outside and getting muddy for the service project at Magnuson Park.
