In January of 2002, President Bush signed the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB). This mandate has a provision that requires districts to provide, upon request, student names, addresses and telephone numbers to military recruiters.
Parents have a legal right to have this information kept private. Please indicate your decision by completing the form below which will notify the school. Please note that unless you use this “opt out procedure” the school district cannot refuse the military recruiters’ request and as a parent you and your child may be contacted by them at home.
Please complete the form below no later than September 30, 2017.
