Ipswich High School offers the following Fall Sports:

If an athlete owes equipment, a uniform, fees, an updated physical or any other item they will not be allowed to participate until these items are taken care of. Registration will close no later than the first scheduled contest for each individual team.
THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION:
1) READ HANDBOOK POLICIES
The 2020-2021 Student-Athlete Handbook can be found on the High School Athletics homepage.
2) ATHLETIC PARTICIPATION FEE:
The 2020-2021 athletic participation fee is $650 per individual with a $900 family maximum. Full payment is expected at the time of registration. This is a per athlete/per year fee, regardless of the number of sports participating in.
The minumum payment to begin participation is $325 per student-athlete, due by August 21, 2020.

Waiver Information: Families may apply for a waiver by filling out the Free or Reduced Lunch form. The form can be found in the main office. In order to qualify for an athletic participation fee waiver, documentation must be provided.
Payment plans may be utilized in order to pay in installments. Please contact the Athletic Department to discuss a payment plan. There is a $325 minimum to begin payment plans. Also, if there is a balance on a previous years' participation fee, the balance must be paid in full before a payment plan can begin.
* Payments can be made Online (https://epay.cityhallsystems.c...) throughout the summer. Please do not write checks over the summer months, as the athletic office is closed and checks will not be cashed until early September.
3) COPY OF CURRENT PHYSICAL
Physical exam must be submitted to the athletic office by Thursday August 20th. The easiest way to submit physicals is to upload them to your registration form directly, on this site.
4) IMPACT BASELINE TEST
All athletes participating in Football, Cheer, Field Hockey, Soccer & Volleyball are required to complete the ImPACT Baseline Concussion Test in order to begin their season. The test is valid for 2 years, therefore any athlete who has completed the test between August 2018 and March 2020 has fulfilled this requirement. The Athletic Department will send an email to all registered athletes who need to complete the Baseline Test with necessary completion information.
5) COMPLETE ONE ONLINE CONCUSSION COURSE (Annual)
Parents and student-athletes who plan to participate in any Ipswich High School athletic program must annually complete a free on-line concussion course. Two free on-line courses are available and contain all information required by law. The first is available through the National Federation of High School Coaches. You will need to click the “order here" button and complete a brief information form to register. At the end of the course, you will receive a completion receipt. The entire course, including registration, can be completed in less than 30 minutes.

All parents are required to complete and submit Department Report of Head Injury During Sports Season Form to the athletic director if a student sustains a head injury outside of the extracurricular activity.
6) READ THE OPIOID MISUSE PREVENTION PACKET
All student-athletes and parents are required to read through the MassTAPP Opioid Misuse Prevention Packet prior to the start of their respective athletic season. The packet can be accessed here: http://masstapp.edc.org/rx-stu...
