Ipswich High School offers the following Fall Sports:
Cheerleading 
Boys Cross Country
Girls Cross Country
Field Hockey 
Football
Golf 
Boys Soccer
Girls Soccer
Girls Volleyball

If an athlete owes equipment, a uniform, fees, an updated physical or any other item they will not be allowed to participate until these items are taken care of. Registration will close no later than the first scheduled contest for each individual team.

All athletes participating in Football, Cheer, Field Hockey, Soccer & Volleyball are required to complete the ImPACT Baseline Concussion Test in order to begin their season.  The test is valid for 2 years, therefore any lacrosse players who took the test in the Spring of 2019 have fulfilled this requirement.  The Athletic Department will be sending an email explaining how to complete the ImPACT Baseline Test.

2) ATHLETIC PARTICIPATION FEE:
The 2019-2020 athletic participation fee is $650 per individual with a $900 family maximum.  Full payment is expected at the time of registration.

There is a non-refundable Registration Fee, $325 per student-athlete, due by August 14, 2019.  The Registration Fee will then be applied to your Athletic Participation Fee; it is the down payment for anyone starting a payment plan. Once the $325 registration fee is paid, the balance on an individual Athletic Participation Fee will be $325.

Waiver Information: Families may apply for a waiver by filling out the Free or Reduced Lunch form. The form can be found in the main office. In order to qualify for an athletic participation fee waiver, documentation must be provided.

Payment plans may be utilized in order to pay in installments. Please contact the Athletic Department to discuss a payment plan.  There is a $325 minimum to begin payment plans.  Also, if there is a balance on a previous years' participation fee, the balance must be paid in full before a payment plan can begin.

 Payments can be made Online (https://epay.cityhallsystems.c...) throughout the summer. Please do not write checks over the summer months, as the athletic office is closed and checks will not be cashed until early September.

3) COPY OF CURRENT PHYSICAL
Physical exam must be submitted to the athletic office by Wednesday August 14th.

4) COMPLETE ONE ONLINE CONCUSSION COURSE (Annual)
Parents and student-athletes who plan to participate in any Ipswich High School athletic program must annually complete a free on-line concussion course. Two free on-line courses are available and contain all information required by law. The first is available through the National Federation of High School Coaches. You will need to click the “order here" button and complete a brief information form to register. At the end of the course, you will receive a completion receipt. The entire course, including registration, can be completed in less than 30 minutes.

All parents are required to complete and submit Department Report of Head Injury During Sports Season Form to the athletic director if a student sustains a head injury outside of the extracurricular activity.

5. READ THE OPIOID MISUSE PREVENTION PACKET
