PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW CAREFULLY. THE FALL ATHLETICS REGISTRATION PROCESS STARTS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE BY SELECTING “REGISTER NOW”.
If you have already created a Family ID Account as an East Angel Athlete, to register for a new season you will need to log into your existing FamilyID account, register under the new and correct season and pay the fee.
PlanetHS (Arbiter Athlete) Registration: You will also need to register on the PlanetHS (Arbiter Athlete) website. If you already have an Arbiter Athlete account from last year, you do not need to create a PlanetHS account. Your old Arbiter Athlete account will automatically switchover to PlanetHS.
This is your official registration with the CHSAA. This is a requirement to receive your athletic clearance card. To create an account, students can use their smartphone and Text S41182 to 69274 for instructions or can log-on and register @ www.planeths.com. This is a very quick and easy process.
Payment: During the registration process in FamilyID, you will have 3 options for payment: 1) $60 Fee, 2) Free and Reduced Lunch Fee- $10 (FRL Letter must be turned in before the end of the season or an additional $50 will be charged to your account) or 3) pay at the school. At the end of the registration process, you will select the Pay & Submit button and follow the prompts. If you are using MySchoolBucks, click on that button located on the left side of the screen. If you are using a debit/credit card, use the button (Continue as Guest) on the right side of the screen. If you select, "Pay at the School", submit payment to the East Treasurer and bring your receipt when you come to receive your clearance card.
Physical Exam – Physical Exams are valid for 365 days. Up to date physicals must be turned in to Lisa Smith via email (email@example.com) or to the Athletic Drop Box located in the Main Office. To check the status of your physical, please email Lisa Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Exchange and transfer students need to complete additional documents in their PlanetHS (Arbiter Athlete) Account.
**All students who will be participating in a sport with East High School that is not offered at their school of attendance must complete an online form and submit it for consideration. Denver Public Schools will review all requests and return decisions and communication as soon as possible. To complete the form, you need to visit the East Athletic Registration Page on the East Website and complete the Students Without A Program Form via the link provided. Contact the Athletic Director, Terita Walker, with questions regarding these additional steps.
After completing the Family ID online registration, athletes interested in trying out to participate in a Fall CHSAA sport will need to complete the athletic registration process at East in order to receive their Athletic Clearance Card.

Please Note: All athletes who are trying out for a fall sport must have their athletic clearance card prior to being on the playing surface on the 1st day of tryouts on August 12th. There will also be a 9th grade New Families Night meeting, August 7th from 6:45 - 8:00 pm. We will be available for athletic registration from 6:30-8:00 pm in Room 240 on this night as well.
