All athletes that are participating in Fall sports at McGee Middle School must register online (no more handing out and collecting emergency information sheets). A parent/guardian should register by clicking on the green button below, and then follow these steps:
- Click on the link for the season's registration form. Scroll to bottom of page and click on Sign Up as a Family or Individual.
- Sign Up for your secure FamilyID account by entering your family name, email address and password. You will receive an email with a link to confirm your new account. (If you don't see the email, check your spam or junk folders)
- Click on the link in your email confirmation and then fill out the information requested on the registration form.
- (Please be sure to update the grade you are entering for the 2018-2019 school year.)
Physicals still need to be filed in the nurse's office. Do not drop them off to the Athletic Coordinator.
Any student athlete trying out for a sports team must have a current physical on file in the Nurse's office. If your physical expires during the season, you must get a new physical before it expires or you will not be eligible to play until it is. A student athlete's physical from a physician is valid for 13 months. You must use the State of Connecticut Health Assessment Record "HAR-3 Rev. 4/2011 for a physical. It is available in the McGee Nurse's office, your doctor's office, or on the McGee Athletics website. The physician must check the box on that form that states, "This student may participate fully in athletic activities and competitive sports." Please give this form directly to the Nurse's office, not to your coach.
