Welcome to the Barnstable High School 2020 Fall Season:
Before any student can participate in a Fall Sports Tryouts, the following requirements must be met:
1. The Athletic Office MUST have a copy of a current physical. Physicals are good for 13 months from the encounter date. An active physical is required, in order to practice or participate in any sport, in any capacity.
2. Registration must be completed on FamilyID.
3. An Athletic User Fee of $150 will need to be paid via FamilyId. The payment will occur through MySchool Bucks, but the link will be located on the second page of the registration page, on the right hand side, about half way down the page, in green. Please do not pay through MySchool Bucks directly. Use the link that is provided through FamilyId. If a student does not make the team, their money will be refunded. Students who qualify for the Federal Free Lunch Program are entitled to a waiver of this fee. There is a $500 family cap in place for all athletic programs.
PHYSICAL, PAID ATHLETIC FEE & COMPLETED REGISTRATION on FamilyID must occur by 8/21/2020, in order to try out for a FALL SPORTS team!
Students who are NOT registered on FamilyID by 8/21/2020, will NOT be able to participate at tryouts.
***Remember...the MIAA/Dept. of Public Health has changed the physical rules...please check your physical dates. They are good for 13 months ~ if they expire during the season, you have 30 days from the 12 month expiration date to submit a new one (by the 13th month), or you will become ineligible to participate. Please drop off physicals in the athletic office (Hub 2) so that they can be processed and sent down to the nurse's office to be filed.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for filling out this form completely and ensuring that any and all medical information concerning your child's health, medical concerns, injuries, medications and allergies are reported to the Athletic Department & coaches.
