Complete online athletic registration
You must have the doctor stamp, signature & date from a CURRENT physical examination form from an M.D. or a D.O. - no chiropractic physicals (see Links section for physical exam form).
- You will not be allowed to participate in any tryouts and/or practices until you have complete and cleared online forms.
- You must have received an email from Family ID stating that your status has been Approved in order to know your registration is complete.
- Please do NOT register for two different sports - you will not be cleared to try out if you do. You may only try out for one sport per season.
We ask that you contribute $80 each time your child participates in a sport. This money forms the bulk of the income used to fund the American sports program. While the $80 donation is not mandatory and no student will be denied participation, it is vital to maintain our sports program. These $80 athletic donations comprise a large portion of the budget for the American Athletics Department (we receive no budget from the district). The athletics budget pays for league, section and state dues, transportation for playoffs, entry fees, referees, umpires, equipment, and all of our other expenses. Checks can be made payable to "American High School."
Please bring the checks to location of the paperwork collection dates listed on the Athletics website. You may turn them in after school in Office B in the Rotunda if you do so before the school year ends (or are bringing it after the school year starts). Otherwise, you may bring them to the weight room during our summer paperwork collection times posted on our website.
