6th grade students from Wrentham, Norfolk, and Plainville who are interested in singing are encouraged to participate in the 6th Grade Honor Chorus workshop and performance.
On Thursday, March 15th Mrs. Ashley Nelson-Oneschuk and Mr. Ryan DeWolfe, choral directors in the King Philip Regional School District, will lead a chorus workshop for 6th grade students from the three elementary districts. Students who are currently enrolled in chorus or are possibly interested in singing are encouraged to participate. Students will learn a song during the workshop that they will perform in the King Philip Regional Spring Choral Concert at 7:00 pm that evening. Students are encouraged to dress nicely for the event with a white shirt or blouse and black skirt or pants. Enrollment is open to 20 students per school and is free. Bus transportation will not be provided for this event. Students will have to be dropped off at King Philip Regional High School.
4:00 pm - Arrive at King Philip Regional High School. Students will be directed towards the Auditorium
4:10-5:30 pm – Honor Chorus workshop with Mrs. Nelson-Oneschuk and Mr. DeWolfe
5:30 pm – Dinner in KP High Cafeteria (pizza and salad) Students can choose to bring dinner if they prefer.
6:30 pm – Rehearse with King Philip Choruses
7:00 pm – King Philip Regional Spring Choral Concert (guest performance with the 6th Grade Honor Chorus students) This concert is free and open to the public!
