5th Grade Trip to the Museum of the American Revolution

Fifth grade will be learning about the American Revolutionary War. This year we have the exciting opportunity to visit the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia. This field trip will be on Monday, November 25th. The cost of this trip is $16.00 per student. Please register and pay for your child through FamilyID. At this time, you will still need to fill out the permission slip that was sent home for your child. This form is due back to school on Friday, October 25th. We would like to have 6 parents join us on this trip. The cost for parents is $17.00. All chaperones must already have current clearances at this time in order to volunteer. Chaperones will be selected on a first come, first serve basis. Mr. Drake will pick the first 6 chaperones who return the bottom portion of the letter that was sent home. Chaperones, must send their $17.00 to Mr. Drake.

On the day of the field trip we will be leaving at 8:15. Please drop your child off by 8:00 so we can use the restrooms and leave on time. This is before school starts so you will need to drop your child off since their normal transportation may not get them to school in time.  We ARE PLANNING to be back in time for afternoon dismissal. However, with city traffic it is possible we may not make it back in time. If this is the case, we will notify parents as soon as possible - BUT you will need to have a plan in place to pick up your child JUST IN CASE WE ARE NOT BACK FOR AFTERNOON DISMISSAL
