This program is offered to Southern Lehigh School District students in grades 2nd through 6th during the 2019-2020 (students going into 3rd through 7th in the 2020-2021 school year).

Are you interested in adventure and exploration? Do you like field trips? The Liberty Trails Summer Camp offers participants something new each day. During the thirteen day camp, adventure begins at Liberty Bell Elementary School where participants will learn background information about the days experience, then it is off to the buses. Previously, participants have visited Adventure Aquarium, Ashland Coal Mine, Hopewell Furnace, Sandy Hook National Recreation Area, Hawk Mountain, Crystal Cave, Tannersville Cranberry Bog, and more. Sign up today and see what experiences await you. This camp is designed for incoming 3rd through 7th grade students. The meeting place will be at the Liberty Bell Elementary School from June 15th to July 1st (weekdays). The first day of camp will begin at 8:00 am as campers are greeted at the front office. On most days thereafter camp will begin at 8:00 am and end between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm dependent upon the activity. There is an overnight camp as part of the experience. Parent Meeting will be held on Monday, June 1st at 7:00 pm at Liberty Bell's Library. Camp leaders will be available to answer questions. The date of orientation has yet to be determined. MAX 50 STUDENTS. Students who have not previously participated in the Liberty Trail Summer Camp will be given first priority to attend. The cost is $400 per student. The deadline for registration is May 31, 2020 and the registration fee is non-refundable after May 31, 2020.
