Welcome to Bishop Brady Athletics and the 2020 Fall Season. We are all very excited to get things going and having everyone back on campus. Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with our new athletic registration software. This process will take the place of all the forms you had to fill out in previous years. Please be advised that athletes must register in order to attend practice and all online forms must be completed. There are so many life lessons learned through athletics, one of the most important being commitment. Please consider this carefully when you choose to sign up for athletics at Brady.

Athletic Info Night: The Kickoff
Meet our Fall Teams
Thursday August 20th 6:15 PM at BBHS
***We require that all athletes and at least one parent attend our Athletic Night. Coaches will have a chance to go over their philosophies and review policies. This is an excellent opportunity for student-athletes and parents to meet their coaches. It is also a great venue to ask questions of the coach about the upcoming season and to meet other parents and players, learn about the season calendar, fundraiser, and any other events. These meetings are extremely informative and go a long way to making sure everyone is on the same page prior to the season starting. The evening will begin in the gymnasium with remarks and updates from the AD, Principal, Athletic Trainer, and often a guest speaker. Following that, teams will break off into individual rooms to meet the coaches. Please note that it is expected that ALL athletes and AT LEAST one parent attend.
All students new to Brady must have a current physical exam before they can attend. All athletes (new and returning) cannot try-out, practice, and/or participate in any BBHS sport without a current physical on file. Physical exams provided by a physician must take place before participating in a sport every two years. Physicals provided with athletic registration and/or that are on file in the Athletic Department must cover the entire time frame of the current season in which sport participation occurs.
New/Transfer Student-Athletes: Physical exams must be completed within the past 12 months.
Returning Student-Athletes: Physical exams must be completed every other year (within 24 months).
Please Note: All athletes are asked to upload their physical exam directly to Family ID (see below) AND submit a printed copy to the guidance department.
BASELINE CONCUSSION TESTING: Incoming 9th graders, new/transfer athletes
Baseline concussion testing will only be required for incoming 9th graders and any new/transfer student-athletes. Due to COVID-19, sophomores, juniors, and seniors will NOT be required to re-test this year. For more information on required testing, and to sign up, please use the following link:
All student athletes and their parents are required to review the Athletic Handbook and sign the acknowledgement at the end. Athletes will not be able to participate in tryouts, practices or games until this form has been signed. You will be able to access the handbook and acknowledgement right here on Family ID.
