Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
The health, safety and well-being of our students and school community is paramount. Holy Names Academy continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic. We are acting according to public health guidance and directives and the most up-to-date information.
In preparation for the Fall 2020 season, we are allowing families to register for more than one fall sport. Coaches will use this information to communicate virtual workout sessions an in-person summer training opportunities.
Before turning out for any Holy Names Academy interscholastic sport, all students must:
1. Complete this FamilyID registration. Register for the primary sport for which the student intends to try out. Note that students not chosen for the team by coaches in a selective sport (basketball, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, soccer, softball, spring crew, tennis, Ultimate Frisbee, volleyball) are encouraged to transfer to a no-cut seasonal HNA sport team (cross-country, fall crew, swimming, track and field). If a student chooses to do this, please log back into Family ID, delete the first registration and complete the registration process for the alternate sport.

2. Submit a Physical Evaluation Form. Each student-athlete must also download the printed form Preparticipation Physical Evaluation (see LINKS at right) or obtain a copy from the Athletic Office, undergo a physical examination by a physician licensed in the State of Washington, and submit the form (signed by the physician) to the Athletic Office. This form is valid for 24 months from the date signed; a current form must be on file with the Athletic Office during each year the student intends to participate on any HNA athletic team(s).
3. Read the HNA Athletic Handbook (see LINKS at right). Every athlete and a parent/guardian will be required to sign an acknowledgement that they have read and understood the handbook.
4. For crew families only, read the HNA Fall Crew Registration 2020 (see LINKS at right).
