2019/2020 Winter Sports Registration

Registration Deadline 12/13/2019
Payment Deadline 12/13/2019

Welcome to Wilson's online-only sports registration. This system provides convenience and efficiency for you, the coaches and the athletic office. After you sign up once, it's very easy to register for other sports or add siblings.

If your son or daughter has played a sport at Wilson, LOGIN and complete the Winter form.

If your son or daughter has NOT played a sport at Wilson, then you need to set up an account on Family ID. Click Create Account in upper right. Enter info including a parent's email address (not the athlete's email address at this point). Family ID will send you an email. Click on this email to complete the fall sport registration. This form must be filled out by the parent/guardian and athlete together.

Create Account from a computer, not your phone. In the future however, you can access your account easily from a computer or a phone. If you have any problems with registration, call the Family ID help number above.

Winter sports practice/tryouts start November 18, 2019. Completing this online registration, having a current physical form on file  and paying required fees (see below) are all required before an athlete can practice.

OSAA rules mandate that all student athletes have a physical examination every two years and turn in a specific physical form. If necessary, please schedule an exam and have your medical provider complete the required physical exam form (found in the links section on the right hand side of this page). We also have these forms in the Wilson Athletic Office and you can find them on our athletic website under the REGISTRATION tab. By Oregon law we need a hard copy of the completed physical form. You may turn in the sports physical in the Athletic Office between 8:30 and 4:30, or scan and email the form to Mike Nolan at or . Parents should keep a copy of the physical.

If you would like options for getting a sports physical, see links to right. OHSU Gabriel Park accepts most insurance besides Kaiser. ZoomCare does sports physicals, and Cleveland and Franklin High Schools health centers are also a good low-cost or no-cost options.

PPS does not provide medical insurance for Athletics. If Student Health Insurance Coverage is needed, please see links to right.

The sports fee is $205 per sport. The cap is $410 per school year per athlete and $820 per family per school year. A reduced fee is available if you qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch. If an athlete needs to quit a sport due to injury or academics three weeks or less into the season, a partial refund can be arranged. Payments can be made using School Pay online.  Beginning in the Fall of 2018, student-athletes cannot participate in contests or practice until payment is made or arrangement have been made with the book keeper.  For cut sports, payments need to be made when teams are posted.

Academic requirements:
Students who fail to meet any of these 3 requirements are not eligible to participate in OSAA contests:
1) students must have passed 5 classes the previous semester (except incoming freshmen) 2) students must be enrolled in and passing 5 classes in the current semester. 3) students must be making satisfactory progress toward graduation by earning the minimum number of credits: 4.5 credits by the start of 10th grade, 10 credits by the start of 11th grade, 17 credits by the start of 12th grade.

In addition, after 1st Qtr grades, if students have received a 2.0 GPA or less with no F's or a 2.5 GPA or less with one or more F's, they will be placed on academic probation and must attend study sessions until the end of the season to remain eligible.
