2019~2020 Athletics Registration ~ Fall

Registration Deadline 08/02/2019
Payment Deadline 08/23/2019

Welcome to Flagstaff High School ~ home of the Eagles! This year we celebrate our 96th year of educating Flagstaff's youth. Flagstaff High School is a comprehensive high school offering a wide variety of programs including an Advanced Placement Academy. We have a rich tradition of excellence in the classroom and in the athletic and activities arena. Our athletic and activities programs include Regional Champions, Sectional Champions as well as State Champions.

We utilize an online platform for our athletic and activities registrations in an effort to be more "green" as well as more efficient. We hope the process is clear and easy for you to navigate. Please contact us if we can be of assistance ~ (928) 773-8105.

INFORMATION NEEDED TO REGISTER:

• Doctor Information

• Health Insurance Information

• Student ID

Make sure your student has a current physical (done on or after March 1, 2019) and that they have completed Brainbook, the online concussion course. Brainbook only needs to be completed once during an athlete's high school career, so if they have participated in sports at FHS in the past their Brainbook Certificate should be on file.

MANDATORY PARENT/STUDENT MEETING:
To keep you informed of the Arizona Interscholastic Association requirements and changes in the bylaws – all parents/guardians along with their students are asked to attend a mandatory meeting each year prior to their student participating in AIA sanctioned activities.

We will be holding these meetings on the following days:

Wednesday, July 31st @ 6:30pm ~ FOOTBALL AND MARCHING BAND ONLY in the Hurley Theatre

Wednesday, August 7th @ 6:30pm ~ Fall Sports (Cross Country, Golf, Swimming & Diving, Volleyball and Spiritline) in the Hurley Auditorium.

At the conclusion of the general informational meeting, parents and students will be released to attend the team specific meeting which will discuss the upcoming season, tryout process, etc. and provide parents an opportunity to meet the coaching staff. Our goal is to cover all information on one night. Information nights are a great opportunity for you to turn in the physical paperwork and Brainbook if needed.  Please note that if you attend the July 31st meeting and are not a football player or member of Marching Band you will miss out on your team meeting.
