2019/20 Congregation B'nai Torah Hebrew School Grades 2-7

Registration Deadline 08/30/2019
Payment Deadline 08/30/2019

The religious school at Congregation B'nai Torah helps students build a foundation of Jewish values and beliefs which are intended to help guide them throughout their adult lives. In order for this foundation to be effective, it must be reflected in both the home and synagogue. We therefore encourage families to be involved in their children's Jewish education, to celebrate Judaism in their homes, and to participate in the ritual, educational, and social action programs of our congregation.
Children in grades 2-7 learn about our Jewish history and traditions, read Bible stories and eventually learn to study Torah. They begin to learn how to read Hebrew prayers and common words/phrases leading up to their preparation for their B'nai Mitzvah. They will also learn about Israel and gain a deeper understanding of the heritage, the people, and the culture of Israeli society. In addition, students will learn about the connections of kinship between American Jewish students and their Israeli counterparts.

Online registration for this program is currently closed/unavailable. Please contact Congregation B'nai Torah for further information.
