2018 Wayland-Weston Rowing Association Summer Middle School 1/2 or Full Morning Camp

Registration Deadline 01/28/2018
Payment Deadline 08/20/2018

Interested in rowing? Whether you are brand new to the sport, or have some experience, you have the opportunity to row on Lake Cochituate this summer. Experience the fitness benefits and joy of rowing, enjoy being outdoors, bring your friends or make new ones!

These programs are open to the community. You do not have to be affiliated with Wayland-Weston Crew, or the high school team.

in addition to a morning session (8-10), we are offer a full morning option for those who wish to attend the whole morning (8-12:00).

From 8-10, all students will go out on the water. From 10-12:00, those students who have signed up for the full morning may go out on the water again, or they may do other exercises, games and team activities.

Offered weekly, M-F, either 8-10 or 8-12:00 starting June 18, 2018. You may sign up for as many weeks as you like. You must sign up by 9pm the Thursday before the upcoming week.

This camp is ideal for 7th - 8th graders who are considering rowing in the fall and high school students that may or may not already know how to row; it will give you a sense of what crew is like. It is also useful for those who know they will be signing up in the fall but might miss the preseason. We also welcome all middle school students who are interested in rowing.

This program is not just for beginners. Each session, rowers of like ability will be grouped together. So it is also appropriate for experienced rowers who are not interested in racing over the summer, and for beginners who sign up for multiple sessions.
