Home of the Eagles!

We believe that the program of interscholastic athletics and activities is an integral part of educating the whole person. While participation in interscholastic athletics and activities is voluntary it is not a right but a privilege. We believe that participants should have options which provide varied experiences commensurate with their interests and abilities, and that they should have freedom of choice in selecting activities.

The primary aims of interscholastic athletics/activities are to provide opportunities to develop God given gifts, to develop leadership skills, to learn the value of making choices for the common good, to play by the rules in competitive settings, to work collaboratively with others, and to practice good citizenship/sportsmanship.

We believe that it is the responsibility of coaches and advisors to provide environments where these aims can flourish. It is also their responsibility to model the behavior they expect from their students, to expect sound academic performance from participants, and to always be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.
