All athletes must be registered for each season in which they plan to participate.  The registration for each sport will open 30-days prior to the start of that sport so that the paperwork submitted will be in compliance with NY State regulations.

Note for the Fall 2020 season:

Interscholastic Athletics in New York State are governed by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA). Currently all interscholastic athletic in-person training is suspended due to COVID-19. Our latest guidance from NYSPHSAA is available below:

All Varsity and JV Sports Monday, September 21st
Modified Football and
Modified A Tennis Monday, September 21st

All other Modified Sports Monday, September 21st


Winter Start Dates
All Varsity and JV Sports
(except Boys Volleyball) Monday, November 16th
Modified Wrestling
Modified Volleyball
Modified Basketball
Boys Varsity and JV Volleyball Monday, December 7th



Spring Start Dates
Varsity and JV Sports Monday, March 15th
All Modified Sports Tuesday, March 23rd


Registering for Participation

1) Notify Coach of the Intent to Participate
Athletes should watch for announcements or contact coaches to attend pre-season meetings and/or gather information about off-season training, practice times, equipment needed, and other sports-specific information.

2) Family ID


Each athlete must be registered on Family ID prior within 30 days of to the start of each season, including the medical update information to help ensure the safety of our athletes. The registration includes all the forms that should be completed before practices begin and directions for registering can be found on the tab to the left. The Family ID website will open for registration 30 day prior to the start of each season.



Information

ALL Athletes and parents must now read and sign the "Parent/Athlete Concussion Information Form". This is new legislation to further educate students and their parents about the risks associated with concussions and the procedures that will be used in case of a concussion. This required form is available on Family ID and must be completed when registering for participation.
