Academic Programs:

Macon Road provides challenging instruction for grades K-3 through 12. In the elementary department, we use all Christian Curriculum (ABeka, BJU Press, and Positive Action for Christ.) In grades 7-12 we use Christian curriculum (A Beka and BJU Press) in all subjects except for math (Pearson) and Spanish.

Our younger grades are rooted in strong phonics and reading programs which aid in their overall learning process. Our secondary program is developed primarily for the college preparatory student, with Advanced Placement and Honors Classes being offered. Our students are challenged in higher level thinking skills and are encouraged to strive for excellence in each subject. Each year our students take standardized testing and score well above the national average.

Athletics: We offer sports for students in grades 4 -12.  We are a member of the Tennessee Athletic Association of Christian Schools.  For girls we offer volleyball, cross country, cheerleading, basketball, softball, and soccer.  For boys we offer football, cross country, basketball, baseball, and soccer.

Fine Arts Programs: All of our elementary students are involved in music instruction.  Grades K5 and 1st grade have weekly music class.  Grades 2 and 3 work on a Fall Program and have music theory and flutophone instruction.  Grades 4-6 work on a Christmas Program and have the option of choir or band.  All of our secondary students are offered band or choir.  We have a secondary speech department which produces a spring play each year.  Both our music and speech students compete in fine arts competition on the regional and state levels.  Our Juniors and Seniors are required to take one semester of music appreciation and one semester of art appreciation.
