Lexington Arts and Crafts Society

The Lexington Arts and Crafts Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) regional education center dedicated to the preservation and promotion of excellence in both the traditional and contemporary arts and crafts.

Come Join Us !

We offer a full schedule of classes and workshops at reasonable rates, year-round days, evenings and weekends, which are open to members and the public.
We have nearly 400 members, comprised of sustaining members and members
of numerous guilds, consisting of Basketry/Decorative Arts, Ceramics, Metalworkers, Needle Arts, Painters, Polymer/Beaders, Photography, Weavers and Woodworkers.

Each guild has its own schedule of meetings, workshops, classes and seminars, as well as its own specialized tools and equipment. Artists and crafts-persons are thus able to work in a community of artisans with similar interests, sharing ideas and expertise.

We hold a variety of exciting exhibits in our Parsons Gallery year-round, and hold annually October Fundraising Fair, Summer Artisans Market and Holiday Market where beautifully hand-crafted works of art and crafts may be purchased.
