The mission of Hickory Grove Christian School athletics is to know Christ and to make him known. We not only want our programs to be successful but we want to be significant! Our goals will include winning games and championships, but we want to set our eyes even higher than that! We will seek to glorify God and exalt Christ in all we do (Matthew 6:33), we will strive to have great discipleship on our teams (1 Peter 5:2), and our coaches will be great teachers of the game (1 Tim 4:8). Sports can teach many lessons, including discipline, hard work, and leadership, and we can use them to point to Christ!
Hickory Grove Christian School offers a variety of middle school and high school athletic programs in which student-athletes can participate. Hickory Grove Athletics is made up of 30 teams participating in 12 different sports for our student body beginning in the 6th grade. Hickory Grove is a member of the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA) and the Metrolina Athletic Conference (MAC).
