Athletic programs are an extension of the academic day where the coaching staff is charged with the responsibility of challenging players, both technically and emotionally, in a positive matter, using both praise and constructive criticism. With this in mind, the Drury High School Athletic Department believes that athletics can teach life-long lessons to our students. Participation – which is voluntary - in sports can provide our student-athletes with experiences that can help them be better prepared to meet and successfully handle future challenges and responsibilities. It should also provide our students with true opportunities for self-discipline, self-sacrifice and loyalty to the school, team and community. Finally, the DHS athletic program is governed by the rules and policies of Berkshire County Athletics as well as the MIAA.
“When work, commitment, and pleasure all become one and you reach that deep well where passion lives, nothing is impossible."
Good luck all members of the DHS Athletic Department!
